Bookings and Deposits
When you book Susie’s Doggie Services for dog walking or drop-ins, a meet and greet is necessary before any services can be rendered. This consultation is complimentary and places no obligation on you to use our services.
The payment for all agreed services must be made in advance. Customer invoices for full amounts are sent at least 48 hours prior to the provision of services the following week.
For Pet Taxi reservations and ad-hoc dog walks, a non-refundable deposit of 20% is required at the time of confirmation. This amount will be rounded up to the nearest £5; for instance, if 20% calculates to £22.60, the deposit will be rounded up to £25.00. The remaining balance must be settled seven days prior to the service date.
Cancellations and Holidays
Please inform us of any changes or cancellations at least seven days in advance. If a cancellation notice is provided with less than seven days' notice, payment for the scheduled service will still be necessary.
We kindly request that our regular customers give us as much notice as possible for holiday bookings.
Susie's Doggie Services will publish their known holidays at the start of every calendar year on their website. Wherever possible, notice for any additional days during the year will be given at least 2 weeks in advance.
Invoice Payment
Payments are due by the date on the invoice for the services rendered. We will send one reminder regarding payments. Thereafter, if payment is not received within 3 days of the original due date services will be suspended, and a late payment fee of £20 will be applied to cover administrative costs.
It is our policy not to make exceptions to cancellations and payments.
Pickup Timings
The timing I provide for picking up your dog for a walk is approximate. Various factors, including weather conditions, traffic, and cancellations, can affect the collection time. As a result, please note that the collection time may vary by up to an hour in either direction, whether earlier or later.
Your pet's well-being is our top priority. In warmer weather, we will closely monitor temperatures and communicate with owners about suitable dog walks, ensuring decisions are made with care.
At Susie’s Doggie Services, we prioritise the safety and comfort of all dogs. To ensure a positive experience during group walks, female dogs in heat are subject to a specific policy.
For the safety and well-being of all dogs, female dogs in heat are not allowed to participate in mixed-gender group walks. This policy is implemented to prevent any undue stress or behavioral problems within the group.
Please notify me immediately if your female dog is in or nearing her heat cycle, so I can adjust or pause her group walks.
Alternative services, such as solo walks, can be provided at the owner's request during the time the dog is in heat. This ensures the dog receives exercise and care in a controlled, stress-free environment.
Female dogs can resume group walks after their heat cycle ends, which typically lasts around three weeks.
If you prepaid for group walks and your dog enters heat, I will reschedule them.
Thank you for your cooperation. This policy ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for all dogs in my care.
